At the Visual Arts Department at least one midterm exam and one final exam is given in theoretical lessons whereas in applied lessons assessments are made by assignments, practices, projects or other applications. Each exam or project is evaluated on the basis of 100 points and final grade is calculated according to the ratios announced at the beginning of the semester again on the basis of 100 points. Relative evaluation is carried on using AA-FF, DZ, YT and YZ letter notes. In order to graduate from the program the cumulative grade point average must be at least 2.00. If the cumulative grade point average is under 2.00 the student is warned; in case it is under 1.80, as a principle the student can’t take a new lesson.
